NEWS AND EVENTS
We are holding a very special lunch and the first in a series of fundraising events on Sunday 24th of February at Tamarind to help support scholarships for students aiming to enter the Asian cuisine industry.
As a founder member of the Asian Restaurant Skill Board, Tamarind has teamed up with the Government backed initiative and University of West London, to boost jobs and skills opportunities in the Asian cuisine sector by supporting speciality courses and apprenticeships.
The members of the association are the London's best Asian restaurants supporting the government initiative.
Guests will be welcomed to the event with pre-lunch drinks and canapes before being seated for a fantastic 3 course meal created exclusively by Tamarind Collection's Executive Chef Alfred Prasad and prepared by team of Tamarind's chefs.
The meal is prepared and served with the assistance of Tamarind's Collection's 7 chef and front of house apprentices. This unique Michelin starred dining experience also includes wines selected to match each course. We expect to have some amazing raffle items, including wine tasting events, cookery classes, the chef's table event, dinner for two and many more.
A detailed list will be made available prior to the event.
